Competitive Advantage #1: Increased vertical angle of attack. A traditional scoop is designed
to address the ball from a 40 degree angle, plus or minus 10 degrees. (highlighted by the
red arrows.) The Savage7's scoop is designed to pick up GB's from a range of 5 to 135
degrees. (the gold arrows) Math suggests that the Savage7 increases the vertical spatial
range for scooping ground balls by a factor large enough to warrant recycling every other
lacrosse head out there. Bottom Line: You can pick the ball up from a negative angle.
Competitive Advantage #2: Increased horizontal angle of attack. Please note how wide the Savage7
scoop area is. It's about twice as long as traditional scoops. Which pretty much explains itself, the
math being redundant. Bottom Line: the days of knocking the ball out of bounds because you were
not perfectly centered over the ball, with two hands on the stick, are over.

more to come,,,,
Competitive Advantage #3: Increased horizontal angle of attack- Take a look at the prototype drawings
above and below. As you can see, a significant part of the sidewall has been transfigured into a ground
ball scoop. This has advantages on the fly, in the telephine box, raking, and facing off. Think of high
speed, full contact, ballet. Think ESPN Top Ten highlights. As opposed to clump ball and rugby pick
stuff up and cradle it kind of way.
4-10 are coming.....or maybe 4-10 should be you! The stick don't matter at a certain point.
Field Testing indicates that the S7 provides a major competitive advantage in the crease area for offensive
